RAPID FIRE:

• Grew Up In: Monterrey, Mexico, on the northeast side of Mexico – about a 2hr drive from the Texas border
• Currently Lives In: San Francisco, CA
• Star Sign: Taurus
• Favorite food: It’s changed since becoming a vegetarian 2 years ago, it used to be steak and sushi, but now I just love anything that’s holistically nutritious – carbs, protein, fat – just a complete, and balanced meal
• Favorite City: The most magical place I’ve been to is a town called Oye in Norway
• What book are you reading: I’m reading the Srimrad Bhagavatam, it’s a vedic text. A  12-part super epic ‘encyclopedia of spiritual knowledge’ 

What’s your favorite part of working in Implementations?

• It’s all the people that I’ve met – each project brings with it between 3-10 people that you meet, not including the field
• I’ve met 100s of people working with PickTrace, you develop unique relationships with each one
• I’ve learned a lot about myself by meeting so many people

When you were in school, did you envision this kind of career for yourself?

• I’ve never known the answer to that, I still don’t know what I want to be when I grow up
• All my life I’ve been good at communication, synthesizing information – so customer onboarding came naturally to me and I’m just going along with it
• When I was a really little kid I wanted to be an astronaut

What’s a favorite memory from your time at PickTrace?

• I had a really fun time at 2023’s Kick Off in San Diego at the Double Deuce country bar – I let myself a little more loose and I remember looking around feeling so grateful that I could have fun being exactly who I am with my coworkers – I was really appreciative of that. 
• Also, anytime I’m on the road with someone – driving on the middle of nowhere and getting to know them is always cool and intimate

What are your hobbies and passions outside of work? 

• I like to play tennis, golf and to be outside as much as I can
• My girlfriend and I like to go to restaurants with friends
• Traveling
• Reading
• I help cook and clean at the spiritual community I’m part of
• I play video games with my friends
• Watch One Piece 

Do you have any guiding principles that you live by?

• The first is that “more than in God, you must believe in yourself”
• The second is that “The power of God trumps all the other powers”

If you were a fruit or vegetable what would you be and why?

I would be a potato – the world’s best vegetable. They are versatile, nutritious, easy to grow, and they last a long time. They are a lifeline to society much like grain is. Long live potatoes.
